Good stay good price but also need some upgrades Location was great - well Penang Georgetown is tiny, so everywhere is ideal. this hotel is between gurney, Georgetown centra, the art street and pengkalan weld. If you're a walker you can walk to everywhere within 2-3km, just a lot of walks by busy roads with lots of traffic. Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly. For 2 nights I stayed in 2 rooms, needed a room change cause the shower/water problem. The 1st one was on 10th floor - I guess this room hasn't been used for sometime - lights were very dim, and water tap and shower did not work well. I notified reception at 7pm and that they have to have them fixed or give me a room change. I came back 2.5 hours later, I found that the water pressure still seem unstable, and I asked for a room change. The lady duty manager did not want to give me a room change and lied that they ran full house. Left with no choice and after a tired long day I braved myself to shower, and true enough the water tap and shower were still problematic - pressure up and down, hot and cold water interchanged within seconds. I was furious and rushed to finish my shower. Called the lady duty manager again, and this time she said can change room immediately! There the lie! I was too tired and only do a room change the next day morning. The hotel & rooms obviously need some upgrades - the carpets, the lights, the TV receptions, the hairdryer, the water kettle.....

An ideal place to come to chill out for the weekend 😎 Its location is ideal and near to Gurney Drive and the park there. A good place to walk and enjoy the scenery. The staff also were responsive and friendly. There were some guests who kept putting their in room dining dishes in the common area and not outside their room door. It was not nice. But the staff cleared the dishes when we told them.
